The Errorplains - Girls in Boys Clothes
As promised - NYUB will now include regular vidcasts, designed especially for iTunes 6.0 (so upgrade if you haven't got it!). The errorplains are our inaugural guests so give them a warm welcome. I'm a strong believer that unsigned artists shouldn't be put off by the concept of making a video. There was no budget for the errorplains video yet they did a cracking job by filming it all in one day and then spending a few weeks developing the graphics themselves. From now on I'll be on the constant lookout for free and legal music videos (unsigned and signed bands) so if you spot anything, let me know. These will be used to create what will hopefully be a monthly video show. Fingers crossed.

Enjoy the video. If you subscribe to NYUB in iTunes 6.0 then you'll see the video appear shortly.

Videocasting, NYUB and a brave new world....

Apple announced the new video capable iPod tonight which will allow users to play Quicktime and MPG4 movies. iTunes 6.0 will also support Quicktime movie integration. Most importantly, it supports RSS feeds with video files attached  - videocasts.

I've been thinking about this for a while now. Wouldn't it be great to add a monthly vidcast to NYUB. Record myself and a few friends on a couch, record a few punters outside gigs in London, add in some music videos that are free and legally available on the web...aaah...there you go, that's the clincher. There aren't any available....or are there?

 STAY TUNED......
