"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." (Hunter S. Thompson)
NYUB was created to provide on-demand refuge from main-stream radio. NYUB harnesses podcasting technology to bring direct to you, the best independent and unsigned artists from the rock and electronic music genres. It's not your usual bollocks.....because mainstream radio is shit.
'We're betting that podcasts will revolutionise the way you discover new music...NYUB showcases unsung subgenres and starts with a truly awful song to ward off the snobs' - Spin Magazine, October 2005
"NYUB has precisely nothing to lose and everything to gain, while Radio 1 are torturing the nation with their electronic Chris Moyles archive, probably blissfully unaware of how tragically awful they seem, NYUB is receiving more and more music from bands and labels to play each day" - Playlouder Magazine, January 2005
"NYUB...it's always good to get off the beaten track" - Computer Music UK, October 2005

Hi. Discovered NYUB today after a follow on Twitter. Thanks for that.
Listening to the last couple of songs on #68 as I write this. Found your SoundCloud account where I can see the artist names and song titles. It would be handy to have a list of tracks in each podcast, including this on the RSS feed description. I've added the RSS feed to my Android phone, aa that's my main way of listening to podcasts.
I'll very likely listen to #68 a few times more. Really like the selection of tracks. I'll certainly try a few of your previous podcasts as well.
Found out about NYUB from the podcast recs thread on SomethingAwful. Loving it and looking forward to catching up on the previous podcasts too. Thanks for the great music yall!
