"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." (Hunter S. Thompson)
NYUB was created to provide on-demand refuge from main-stream radio. NYUB harnesses podcasting technology to bring direct to you, the best independent and unsigned artists from the rock and electronic music genres. It's not your usual bollocks.....because mainstream radio is shit.

2nd largest music magazine in the US features NYUB as an October 'Spin Essential'. I've received a few e-mails now from listeners telling me that the show's in there. Particular thanks to Jess who spotted it first. The latest issue isn't available yet in London but once it arrives you can bet I'll be posting a copy of it online! Needless to say I'm pretty damn bloody excited about this.

Wired should just hurry up and realize what they're missing out on… Still; it's all trumped by Spin - it'll be interesting to see what happens to the listener-ship from here. Up by a third surely?
It's definitely up! I still haven't seen the mention in Spin but apparently it's a small little section referring to breakcore and electro specialists - NYUB. Not quite on the button as I don't wholly focus on that stuff. Ah well...still, it's quite funny to see the show mentioned.
