NYUB Album Graphics - A clarification.....

After my phone interview with Chris Ritke at 49media it became apparent to me that irony is not always a strong humor trait in the US. :)  So just to clarify - the album covers that I load as graphics that appear on your iPods are simply the WORST album covers I can find on the web. It ties in subtly with the 'mainstream radio is shit....' theme that NYUB was founded upon.

Well, in hindsight I could say that I was asking a provocative question... but you're probably right about irony not always being a strong humor trait in the US!

And yes - mainstream radio is shit - NYUB rules!

I'll put a disclaimer on the cover art from now on. :)

Just so you know, I absolutely loved your crap album covers.

And the kiwi one as well.

*shocked and hurt* Hey... I'm American. I appreciate it quite immensely. In fact, I'm chuckling right now.

But hey! No harm. No fowl. It's not necessarily that Americans don't appreciate irony; it's that (unfortunately) the slowest of Americans happen to be some of the most vocal.
