Wired just ran an article on a guy called '386 DX' (spot the the Intel reference) in Russia who's a leader in '8-bit style' , 'vintage techno' or 'cyberpunk rock'. He's got his midi keyboard connected to a 386 with a 40gb hard drive and 8MB ram. The vocals are delivered via a crusty text-to- speech application which probably maxes out the CPU. Genius.
